Visit the Southwest Airlines website and click on the link to the far left side of the page titled "Check Flight Status".

Enter the departure city of the flight, the travel date of the flight and either the arrival city or flight number to check the status of the flight. Click "Check Status".

View the information for your selected flight. If you wish, you can also click on the link marked "Sign Up For Alerts" on the results page to have email updates sent to your phone or PDA.
