AirTran serves both business and leisure travelers. The airline has America's youngest fleet and uses Boeing 717 and 737 jets. From Atlantic City, AirTran offers two daily non-stop flights to Atlanta, with connecting flights to major cities in the U.S. AirTran offers passengers the ability to book tickets and check-in online and to select seats in advance.
Spirit Airlines calls itself the "Ultra Low Cost Carrier," offering customers low prices without services they may not need. Spirit uses a fleet of Airbus aircraft including A319, A320 and A321. From Atlantic City, Spirit offers non-stop flights to major destinations including Boston, Detroit and Florida, with new non-stop service to Chicago beginning in March, 2011. The airline offers passengers the ability to book and manage their reservations online and to check-in online.
In addition to the two commercial airlines, two other charter services offer passengers private flights. Midlantic Jet is based in Atlantic City and offers air charter service to any destination that passengers may want, including smaller airports that commercial airlines may not serve.
Gold Transportation operates a Boeing 737 and an additional aircraft that can be booked through various casinos in Atlantic City. In both cases, customers should contact the respective air charter service for booking their flight.
