How to Book Travel on Easyjet

EasyJet is an inexpensive, no-frills airline. Established in 1998, it is based at Luton Airport in London and its fleet is comprised of 737-300s, 737-700s and Airbus A319s aircraft. Cost-cutting measures implemented by EasyJet include no onboard meals and ticketless travel. EasyJet was a pioneer in on-line booking and nearly 95 percent percent of its tickets are purchase over the Internet.

  1. Book Travel on EasyJet

      Book your tickets via EasyJet's Web site (see Resources below). You can also book by phone at 011 (+44) 0871 244 2366, using a debit or credit card. Phone reservations can be made until 2 weeks before departure, after which all reservations must be made online. You must register as a member when you book online.

      Look to your email for confirmation of your reservation, your itinerary and booking reference number. Paper tickets are never issued.

      Check your mailbox if you made your reservation by phone. You will receive your itinerary and booking reference via mail.

      Change your mind? Cancel your reservation within 24 hours and receive a refund, less a cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after the 24-hour cancellation period. Click the Help Me button for FAQs regarding refunds and cancellation policy.

    Board EasyJet

      Arrive early as 2-hour check-in is recommended. Check-in closes 40 minutes before departure and passengers arriving late will not be allowed to board. A valid ID and booking reference number are required for boarding.

      Check-in online and proceed directly to security. You must arrive at the gate 25 minutes prior to departure.

    Be Aware of Baggage Restrictions

      Carry on one bag. This includes handbags and laptops, which must fit inside your one bag. Carry-on luggage must not exceed UK Department of Transport size guidelines (56x45x25 cm).

      Check luggage weighing no more than 20 kgs (44lbs) per person. No one piece of luggage should weigh more that 32 kgs (70lbs).
