Airport Transportation to PDX in Oregon

Flying to and from PDX--Portland International Airport--in Oregon may require transportation if you do not have a car or someone to drive you. Finding a source of transportation is not too difficult.
  1. Taxi

    • Depending where you are in the Portland area, taxi fares will vary. Charges are usually ascertained on a per-mile basis and some companies have surcharges for extra passengers. There is usually no extra charge for luggage. The further outside Portland you are the more expensive your taxi ride will be.

    Private Shuttle Service

    • This is a similar service to a taxi, but the cars are not marked. You will enjoy a private, door to door service from anywhere in Oregon and from some areas of Washington. Prices are charged per mile and there is no surcharge for passengers. Prices are flat rate for the hire of the vehicle and the driver.

    Portland Metro Travel

    • The TriMet Max line from Portland's city center and greater metro area travels to the airport. The Blue Line service runs between Hillsboro and Gresham. The Red Line service operates between Beaverton and PDX. The Green Line runs between Clackamas and PSU, while the Yellow Line runs between the Expo center and Portland State University. Buses run to and from PDX on a regular basis. These are not courtesy buses. If you are staying at a hotel there may be free shuttle service to and from the airport.
