Oregon's primary airport for domestic and international travel, Portland International Airport (PDX) provides support for 13 major carriers including Alaska, American, Delta, US Airways and Continental. Non-stop flights out of PDX in 2010 include points in Tokyo, Amsterdam, New York Kennedy, Boston, Toronto and Philadelphia.
Condé Nast Traveler honored PDX as the Best U.S. Airport in 2008 and as runner-up in 2009. The terminal offers passengers complimentary Wi-Fi service and over 20 cafes, restaurants and boutiques. The City of Portland runs its MAX light-rail system to the terminal, allowing passengers a quick commute to several points in downtown Portland and the surrounding area. PDX has also been noted for its environmental initiatives such as installing solar panels along the terminal roof and employing a collection program for recycling used oil and grease from airport restaurants into biofuels.

The Eugene Airport is the second busiest airport in Oregon and the largest non-hub airport in the United States as of 2010. Four airlines--United, Horizon, Delta and Allegiant--offer non-stop service out of Eugene to eight major western cities including San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Denver and Phoenix.
The airport provides short- and long-term parking and the terminal offers a full-service restaurant, lounge and several gift shops for travelers. Several rental car agencies are also available.

This southwest Oregon airport serves eight western hubs including Las Vegas, Seattle, Phoenix and Los Angeles. Commercial airlines United Express, Horizon Air, Delta Connection, Sky West and Allegiant Air combine to fly approximately 56 daily flights to and from this terminal. Rogue Valley International also serves general and corporate aviation clientele, providing fuel, airframe and power plant repairs, and aircraft sales along with flight training.
The terminal, renovated in 2009, features several rental car agencies, gift shops and one full-service restaurant and lounge.

Redmond Municipal serves central Oregon and oversees approximately 46 daily flights to and from Denver, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Seattle and other western cities. Major carriers operating at Redmond include United Express and Allegiant Air. Other air traffic through this airport includes cargo and general aviation as well as a training center and other flight-based operations.
Short- and long-term parking is available here, and several rental car agencies operate out of the terminal. No food or beverage service was available in 2010 due to a terminal remodel.

The Klamath Falls Airport service travelers in southern Oregon and provides base operations for the Oregon National Guard and the U.S. Forest Service. The sole commercial operator, United, flies twice daily to Portland and San Francisco. General aviation, recreational tours and flight training make up remainder of the activity here.

There are over 100 public use airports in Oregon, according to the state Department of Aviation. These airports are used for air cargo transport, recreational and charter flights, and private use. Smaller Oregon cities such as Albany, Astoria, Bend, Brookings, The Dalles, Salem, Newport and Pendleton are served by public use airports.
