Salinas Municipal Airport (FAA identifier SNS) is about 16 miles away from Monterey. This general aviation airport has no airline service.
The Salinas Municipal Airport has three runways and serves single and twin engine aircraft, helicopters, and turbo-propeller and turbine-powered business jets. Its air traffic control tower is open 12 hours a day, seven days a week.
