Book a train or bus into San Jose, California. Amtrak and Greyhound both offer service into San Jose, and both allow you to book online or over the phone. You can also pay in person at your station of departure.

When you've entered the departure address, type in your destination address in Cupertino in the "to" line. Hit "plan trip." You will be directed to a map with directions to the bus route or routes you will need to take. Typically, riders coming from San Jose's bus or train stations will take bus route 23 into Cupertino. When you get the directions, print and save them.
Arrive at the bus or train station you are leaving from at least one hour prior to departure, to check any bags and ensure you have a seat.
