One way to get to a game at Angel Stadium is to take a Greyhound bus from the station in San Diego to Anaheim. Simply visit Greyhound.com and book a ticket from San Diego to Anaheim, and show up about an hour before the bus is set to depart. The bus journey between the two cities takes about two hours. There are several buses going back and forth each day. The Greyhound station and Angel Stadium are about two miles apart from each other, so take a cab to the stadium once you arrive. Round-trip tickets are available, but depending on your arrival time, they may not leave the same day.
For a more unique and perhaps memorable bus experience, you could rent a party bus from one of several companies in San Diego. San Diego Limo Buses offers mini buses with elaborate interiors featuring the look of a limousine, or a "rolling club." South Coast Limousines offers a similar service, with upscale minibuses that will take you straight to Angel Stadium from San Diego. These are chauffeured, chartered buses, so book your bus well ahead of time to ensure you have a reservation. See Resources.
If you have a big group that won't fit in a minibus, another option is to charter an entire bus to get to Angel Stadium. Like the chartered party buses, you will be able to get yourself and your group back to San Diego directly after the event is over, if you wish. Since the buses are less luxurious than chartered party buses, they can be less expensive per person. Try Grey Line San Diego or Sundance Stage for this type of service. (See Resources)
