Bus Trips to Christmas Spectacular From New Jersey

The famous Radio City Christmas Spectacular brings visitors from all over the United States each year during the holiday season. New Jersey residents have the luxury of being close enough to NYC that a bus trip to see the Rockettes is not an unreasonable or expensive venture.     • Those living in Jefferson Township in Morris County, New Jersey can enjoy an annual bus trip to view the Christmas Spectacular. Taking place in early November of each year, the tickets are around $70 in 2011, and include travel by deluxe motor coach, reserved orchestra seating for the performance, and a popcorn and drink voucher at the show.     NJ Transit

    • NJ Transit offers a package deal where you receive a $10 discount on tickets when you choose their bus as your transportation option. This is good for non-peak performances, and a bus can take you directly to Madison Square Garden; taking a NJ Transit bus from virtually any location in New Jersey takes you to New York City. Fare varies upon the distance and time it takes you to arrive. Aberdeen to NYC is around $15, while a further destination such as Barrington can cost up to $45, as of 2011.     • Starr Tours charter buses get you from New Jersey to the glittering lights of Radio City for a reasonable price. This is an option for large groups such as schools, churches, or retirement homes, who wish to ride in style into New York City.     Edison Parent/Child Trip

    • In 2010, the Edison Recreation Department offered a bus trip to see the Christmas Spectacular. To attend, tickets were $65 and space was limited to parents and children.
