Take a bus trip to see national landmarks, famous sites as well as scenic countryside throughout the United States. Bus companies offer tours that cater to a variety of interests, from a two-week Florida excursion to a tour through Amish country. Most bus trips include hotel accommodations and meals.
  1. Florida Bus Trip

    • Operating since 1935, Riley Bus and Tours offers a variety of seasonal trips across the United States. The wintertime 15-day Florida Sunshine tour visits Key West, St. Augustine, Fort Lauderdale and Naples.

      This tour begins in Tinley Park, Illinois, and travels through Tennessee and Georgia before arriving in Florida. Highlights include exploring the Spanish Quarter in St. Augustine, touring the winter home of Thomas Edison in Orlando and spending an afternoon at SeaWorld.

      The tour travels through the Amish community in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where you'll dine with a local Amish family to learn their way of life. You'll also tour Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, home to a 75-foot Christmas tree and a heated conservatory. Visit both the Kitchen Kettle Complex and the Farmers Market, where you can purchase handmade gifts and holiday decorations.

      As the tour continues through the Brandywine Valley, you'll tour the DuPont Estate, located on 1,000 acres and decorated extensively for the holidays. Optional excursions include viewing a theatrical performance of Bible re-enactments at the Sights and Sounds Millennium Theater in Lancaster County.
