Does the Suez canal haev any locks?

The Suez Canal does not have any locks. Instead, it uses a system of lakes to raise and lower ships between the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. The canal runs through the Isthmus of Suez, a narrow strip of land that connects Africa and Asia. The canal is about 193 kilometers long and is one of the most important shipping routes in the world.
