Dump and flush your tanks. Close both valves. Turn off the water so none will drain out while you work. Move everything out of the way if your valves are located in a separate storage compartment. Place a bucket or bin underneath the valves to catch spills and debris.
Use your wrench to remove the four nuts and bolts holding the valve to the drain pipe flanges. Pry the flanges gently apart to release the valve. Pull the valve body out from between the flanges. Remove the old seals from the lips of both flanges.
Clean the drain pipe flanges with a rag to remove any debris, especially around the lips where the seals fit. Spray the flanges lightly with silicon spray.
Press the new seals onto the lips of the drain pipe flanges. Spray the seals and new valve lightly with silicone spray. Insert the valve body carefully in between the flanges so the openings in the valve fit over the seals on both sides. Make sure the seals stay seated on both flanges.
Line up the bolt holes in the valve body and drain pipe flanges. Insert the four new bolts supplied with the valve. You may have to wiggle the valve slightly to get the bolts to fit. Make sure the seals are still in position. Attach the new washers and nuts to each bolt and tighten evenly. Do not over-tighten.
Open and close the valve several times to ensure proper operation. Turn on the water. Run some water in the camper with the drain valve closed to make sure there are no leaks.
