How to Sanitize a RV Fresh Water Holding Tank

Water in your RV's fresh water holding tank can develop spores or mold growth due to extreme temperatures or contamination. Sanitizing the fresh water tank in an RV is a necessary precaution to avoid illness while on vacation. Always disinfect the fresh water tank at the beginning of your RV season. If you use your RV throughout the year, it is a good practice to disinfect the fresh water tank when water has been sitting in the tank for a month or longer.
