Knox Butte RV Park is located a quarter of a mile east of Interstate 5 in Albany, Oregon. This town is 85 miles south of Portland, and is known for its antique shops and the number of buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. These include the Whitespires Church and the Monteith House, now a museum. The Willamette Valley is also known for its covered bridges, which are accessible by car or bicycle.
This park has 20 spaces in the rental pool, all paved and with water, sewer and 30- or 50-amp electrical service. The 11 pull-thrus and the back-ins are all 55 feet long and are wide enough for slide-outs. Each campsite has a table and access to cable TV. The RV park charges a fee for wireless Internet. Burkhart Creek runs along one edge of Knox Butte RV park, and there is a covered picnic area nearby. The onsite store offers groceries, propane, RV supplies and newspapers. Eugene Kamping World RV Park is 7 miles north of downtown Eugene in Coburg. The town is close enough to use as a base for exploring Eugene but also draws tourists to its antique shops and to annual events such as Heritage Days, the Car Classic and the Coburg Antique Fair. The entire community, founded in 1847, is a National Historic District.
The park offers 80 spaces, 47 of which are paved. There are 77 pull-thru sites that are 65 feet long. The back-ins measure 40 feet in length. All spaces can accommodate slide-outs. Full hook-ups are available at 67 spaces; the remainder are water and electric only. Electric hook-ups are 30- and 50-amps. Internet is available at the campsites, either wireless or through a modem connect. The onsite store offers groceries, propane gas, video rentals and RV supplies. Other amenities include showers, restrooms, an exchange library, laundry room and a dump station. Eugene Kamping World welcomes pets and has an enclosed dog exercise area.
