Instructions

    • 1

Hook up the sway control ball 1 3/8 inch in front of the hitch ball and 5 1/2 inches outward. Install the ball using a lock washer and nut.

    • 2

Tighten the ball with the torque wrench until it is at 100 ft. lbs.

    • 3

Hook up the trailer as normal. Place the ball mount so the hitch bar is on the center line.

    • 4

Check the position of the nylon pad. Install the handle with the washer into the body. Grease the handle threads, washer and handle flanges.

    • 5

Place the slide bar at 4 1/2 inches from and parallel to the body. Tighten the handle. Put the slide bar coupler onto the ball.

    • 6

Hold the bracket up to the frame. Position the bracket for the best handle clearance.

    • 7

Rivet the four corner holes to secure the frame. Clamp the bracket to the frame of the camper.

Add the drive rivet. Pound the rivet pin flush with the rivet head. Drill the three remaining corner holes and install the rivets or bolts.

    • 9
