The White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad offer their White Pass Summit Excursion for breathtaking views of glaciers, mountains, waterfalls and gorges in the Yukon territory. The tour begins in Skagway and travels 20 miles to the 2,865-foot elevation level of White Pass Summit. The route takes riders past Inspiration Point, Bridal Veil Falls and Dead Horse Gulch. Riders also view the original Klondike trail that gold seekers wore into the mountains more than a century ago.
Pulled by a vintage diesel locomotive, this train tour runs May 4 through September 24, with an additional day of service on September 29. This 40-mile round trip tour lasts between three and three-and-a-half hours. Tours leave at 8:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, there's an additional tour that leaves Skagway at 4:30 p.m. On Sundays, passengers can depart from Fraser at 8:00 a.m. This train is equipped with lift cars to accommodate electric wheelchairs and scooters. Proof of citizenship is not required in order to ride.

The White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad's Yukon Adventure is a one-way rail train tour of the Yukon landscape. The tour takes passengers from Skagway to Carcross, Yukon, over the White Pass Summit and into British Columbia. The train stops at Lake Bennett, a completely restored 1903 rail station. A two-hour layover at Lake Bennett allows passengers time to enjoy a meal at the Bennett Eating House, which is included in the tour price, then to explore the historic gold rush town site. A self-guided walking tour of the area is available. Following the layover, the vintage diesel locomotive pulls the train on to Carcross.
This tour runs May 20 through September 1, Sunday through Friday. The one-way, 67.5-mile train tour takes approximately six hours. A bus ride back to the departing station is available, which takes an additional three hours. On Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, the train runs northbound from Skagway to Carcross and departs at 7:45 a.m. On Monday, Tuesday and Friday, the train runs southbound and departs at 10:30 a.m. This fully-narrated tour train is not equipped with a wheelchair lift. Proof of citizenship is required.

White Pass and Yukon Railroad's Fraser Meadows Steam Excursion is a 52-mile round trip rail tour that goes beyond White Pass Summit into the picturesque Fraser Meadows. Pulled by one of the rail company's two steam locomotives --- Engine No. 69 or Engine No. 73 --- the train travels up rail lines originally engineered in 1898, climbing almost 3,000 feet. Passengers will experience cliff-hanging turns and some of the steepest grades in the territory.
The rail tour runs May 21 through September 13. This four-hour train ride is available on Mondays and Fridays only and departs Skagway at noon. This fully-narrated tour is not equipped with a wheelchair lift. Proof of citizenship is required.
