Click on the link "National Rail" under "References" at the bottom of this page. The link will take you to the homepage of the UK's National Rail, where you can make a reservation.
Enter your departure location in the blank next to "From:" and type "Leeds" into the blank next to "To:" If you want to arrive in the city center, select "Leeds." If you want to arrive at the airport, select "Leeds Bradford Airport." Choose the date and time of your outward journey and, if applicable, the date and time of your return journey. Click "Search" when you are finished.
Click "View Fares" to bypass the next page and see the fares associated with each train. On the third page you will see the train information in the top box and the corresponding fare information in the lower box. The train in the first column corresponds to the fares in the first column of the fares box.
The Advanced, Off-Peak, and Anytime options detail whether or not you are able to change your ticket. The Advanced option lets you change your ticket to another Advanced ticket on a different train if available. If no Advanced tickets are available, you will need to upgrade your ticket for a fee. Off-Peak tickets do not restrict you from traveling on any train, but you do need to travel during a particular time. These times vary and are available at a train station. There are no restrictions on Anytime tickets as long as you travel within five days of the date listed on your ticket.
Select the fare and train that you want by clicking on the circle at the bottom of the price. Click "Select" to continue.
Click "Buy" next to the price in British pounds to purchase the ticket. You cannot buy your ticket directly from National Rail, but National Rail will direct you to a website where you can buy your selected reservation. There is a chance that your ticket will be cheaper than the price quoted on National Rail due to online discounts. You can continue your purchase on the new website by verifying your reservation and entering your billing information.
