How to Check for Railway Reservations

Railway reservations are available to check online. Rail travel in the United States is provided by Amtrak which is officially named the National Railroad Passenger Corporation. Amtrak operates 265 trains per day which service over 500 stations on over 22,000 miles of track. Reservations with Amtrak are now available to check online as well as by phone. If you are traveling overseas train reservations must be checked with each individual rail line and cannot be accessed through online rail ticket brokers.
