Book your Providence train travel fast and easy by going to the Amtrak site (see below).
Get started with the Fare Finder Tool by searching your departure and arrival points using the 'Station List' link. You can also simply type in PVD for Providence or WAS for Washington, DC as your station codes.
Provide all of the details required, such as travel date, time and passenger details. Proceed to sort by fare or schedule.
Select your preferred itinerary and make upgrades as you wish.
Enter your discount category and promotion code, if this applies to you.
'View fare' and continue to provide your information. Choose between providing your Amtrak member profile or continuing as a guest.
Click on your preferred ticket delivery option, then proceed to pay. Your purchase is final when you are given a Reservation Confirmation.
Wait for them to be mailed or pick up your tickets and store them in a safe place.
