  1. Instructions

    • 1

Disconnect the cart battery charger from your power outlet. Check the breaker on your supply outlet to confirm you have power. Plug in the charging cable and check voltages on the cart plug end. Replace the cable if there is no voltage or the breaker trips when you plug it in.

    • 2

Disconnect all battery cables. Use a voltmeter to check the voltage on each battery. If the voltage is below that of the rated voltage (6 or 12 volt), replace it. Replace the battery if it shows any leakage.

    • 3

Clean the battery terminals with battery cleaner and a brush. If the battery has cell caps, open them and check acid levels visually. Add distilled water using a funnel until the liquid level reaches the indicator about a half inch below the top of the battery. Tighten all battery connections to the cart electrical wiring.

    • 4

Insert the cart key and turn the ignition on. Engage the forward or reverse lever on the cart and determine if the cart will move. If you cannot get any movement, obtain professional assistance. You may have a broken internal wire or a bad drive motor.

    • 5

Check tire pressures if the cart moves but appears sluggish or difficult to steer. Replace worn tires.

    • 6

Inspect under the cart for broken suspension parts or other body damage. Replace any broken parts.

    • 7

Obtain professional service if the above steps do not get your cart running.
