Purchase clear tubing from your local home improvement store. The tube needs to be four to five feet in length. You need clear tubing so you can see the gasoline as it drains from the gas tank.
Insert one end of the tube into the gas tank through the opening you use to place gas into your Oldsmobile. Continue to thread the tube until you feel resistance.
Straighten the tube and insert the other end into your mouth.
Gently suck on the tube until the gas has almost reached your mouth. Quickly place your thumb over the end of the tube to keep the gas in the tube.
Remove your thumb and quickly place the end of the tube into a gas can, which is placed on the ground. Allow the gas to flow until the tank is empty or you have removed the desired amount of gas.
