Go to the Rail Europe Web site (see Resources). Select the "Train Tickets & Schedules" options from the left menu bar.
Enter "Dusseldorf" and "Amsterdam" in the point to point destination boxes. Select if the ticket is one way or if you need a return trip. Enter your travel departure date and time and the number of adults, children, youth and seniors that will be taking this trip.
Select a train ticket option that suits your needs. Travel time is a total of about 5 1/2 hours and usually requires 3 different connections. Choose from 4 different seating options, namely Economy, Freedom, Comfort and Premier. The latter 2 options are first class seating and cost more than the first 2 options which are second class seating.
Enter passenger information for each ticket. The passenger's name, age and country of origin are required information.
Select your shipping preference and enter your shipping information, day time phone number and email address. Enter your departure date and any promotion codes for additional savings to officially book your tickets.
Enter your billing information and then confirm your order. Print out your confirmation notes for your records.
