Tugaloo State Park, located on a wooded peninsula, offers 113 camp sites and 20 cottages. Majority of the accommodations have views of Lake Hartwell with more than 55,000 acres. Plan a day of swimming, boating and water skiing in the lake. Some cottages have access to the private boat docks. Hike on the Sassafras or Muscadine trails, with roughly 400 acres to explore. While you stay, arrange to visit Toccoa Falls or the Hartwell Dam.
