Drive to Lake Ainsworth Holiday Park on your reserved date, and check in to your cabin or camping site. The staff at the park should be able to provide you with a map or directions to your site location. Speak with the staff about the park's facilities, hours of operation, rules and nearby attractions.
Arrive at your cabin or camping site and unpack your things. If you are staying in a tent, make sure you have parked your vehicle in the appropriate space and you have enough room to set up the tent and camping area. The powered sites have wireless Internet access and are close to the lake and beach. If you are staying in a cabin, you will be provided with linens, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and a television with a DVD player.
Dress for the weather and take advantage of the beautiful, natural scenery as well as shops in the area. Seven Mile Beach, Lennox Head, is known for its surfing and fishing. Try taking a surfing class, or go fishing in the beach waters or the fresh waters of Lake Ainsworth. Whale watching, bike tours and a seabird rescue program are also available in the area.
