Go to each town along the lake to find a camping village that is not completely booked. Even if you do not have a car, there is public bus service along Lake Garda's ring road with bus stops. On top of that, there are numerous ferries on the lake with docking points at each of the villages.
Register with the front office of the camping village of your choice.
Find the way to your camping site once you have registered with the camping village's office.
Set up camp with your tent or motor home if it is an open campsite or settle into your cabin or apartment.
Find fun activities to do on your camping trip. There are many things to do in the Lake Garda area, including boating, horseback riding, rock climbing, visiting all of the various Italian villages situated on the lake, and going to the nearby Gardaland Theme Park.
Check out with the front office once you are done staying at the camping village.
