Holiday Trav-L-Park's seaside location gives visitors access to activities along the coast as well as the opportunity to use on-site amenities, including swimming pools, playgrounds, planned daily activities and the park's wine and gourmet food shop. Back-in and pull-through sites are available at the park, and many have views of the ocean and surrounding dunes. You'll have the opportunity to camp at one of 375 RV sites or one of 30 tent sites. Each site is on grass and includes full hookups, a picnic table and access to laundry facilities.

Visitors to Camp Ocean Forest Campground experience living right on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The campground's convenient location places it close to restaurants, several of which are within walking distance, and other venues, such as golf courses and marinas, which are located within a short drive. Camp Ocean Forest offers about 100 sites, all with full hookups, picnic tables and access to restrooms with showers and laundry facilities.

Cedar Point Campground, located in the Croatan National Forest about nine miles from Emerald Isle, is a more rustic option for camping. Its location near the White Oak River and a salt marsh gives visitors plenty of seclusion. But you won't find any hookups here or lots of amenities. You will find 40 tent sites with a picnic table, grill, and lantern pole with access to flush toilets and hot showers. You can walk or drive four miles to access Atlantic Ocean beaches or choose to stay closer and fish in the river, hike or watch wildlife. A canoe base camp is located three miles away at the Intracoastal Waterway.
