The Cape Hatteras KOA, located on Hatteras Island, is an oceanfront campground that offers RV sites, tent sites and cabins. All campsites can accommodate pull-throughs up to 65 feet and feature 50-amp electrical and cable TV hook-ups. Cabins feature heating and air-conditioning, kitchenettes, private bathrooms and porches. Free wireless Internet is available throughout the campground. Guests can enjoy the hotel's seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fun train, jumping pillow, outdoor cinema and mini golf. Bicycles are available for rent. The campground is open year-round.

The campground is surrounded on three sides by a pond, which allows for on-site fishing. It features pull-through and back-in RV sites in addition to tent sites and cabins.
