RV Parks and Campgrounds in Western North Carolina

    • Flaming Arrow Campground is located only four miles from Great Smoky Mountains National Park. RV sites come with 20/30/50-amp hook-ups and enough room for slide-outs. Nine pull-through sites are available.     Moonshine Creek Campground

    • Moonshine Creek Campground is nestled in western North Carolina between the cities of Waynesville and Silva, five minutes from Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The campground has a county store, a stream suitable for fishing, lawn games, laundry facilities, a bathhouse, fire rings and picnic tables. The campground has a total of 91 sites, 54 with full utility hook-ups and cable TV. Moonshine Creek also has cabins for rent and tent camping sites. Pets are welcome. The campground offers nightly, weekly and monthly rates. Members of Good Sam and AAA receive 10 percent off nightly charges.

    Honey Bear Campground

    • Honey Bear Campground is located on 26 acres in Boone, North Carolina. The park has its own trout pond, camp store and grocery service and offers ice, firewood and propane. Most RV sites come with full hook-ups, and the camp also features RV storage and a dump station. Primitive campsites, tent sites, two cabins and RV spaces with cable, water and electric only are also available, as well as stream-front sites and private shaded sites. Honey Bear has a cookout area, playground and volleyball courts. Pets are welcome, with the camp offering a exercise field just for dogs. The park also has a theater room, game room, laundry and shower facilities and wireless Internet access. Active and retired military and members of Camp Club USA receive discounted rates.
