Florida Youth Hostels

The original idea behind hostels was to permit students and other young people with limited funds an opportunity for travel. Today, all ages are welcome at hostels, and the low prices encourage exposure to people from all cultures. Dorm-like sleeping arrangements and community kitchens keep overhead low. Florida boasts hostels in Miami, Orlando and St. Augustine where travelers can experience nature and beaches in the subtropical surroundings, as well as nightlife and more cosmopolitan pursuits in the cities.
