Parowan, Utah Area Hotels

Settled in 1851 as the first settlement in southern Utah, Parowan sits at an elevation of 5,960 feet. Many of the businesses established in 1851 are still located on Parowan's Main Street. This town of 2,000 people also hosts the entrance to Utah's Patchwork Parkway historic byway. Visitors to Parowan can choose from a number of hotels in and around the town.

    • The Days Inn in Parowan offers two kinds of rooms: a standard king bed room with one king-size bed and a standard two double bed room with two double beds. All rooms come with a small table and chairs, a dresser, a television and a private bathroom. The continental breakfast is free, as is the indoor heated pool, the jacuzzi and the high-speed wireless Internet access. Pets are allowed in the hotel for a $15 charge and children between the ages of 13 and 17 get a $5 discount. The hotel is located 10 minutes from a ski resort and 58 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park.

    Victorian Rose Country Inn

    • The Victorian Rose Country Inn has four suites; all with at least one queen-size bed, a living room and sometimes, extra pull-out beds. Nearby are three local museums and at least seven local historical sites. The Brian Head ski resort is only 13 miles from the inn. Guests can also visit Cedar Breaks National Monument. There are many day trips convenient to the Victorian Rose Country Inn. Among these are the Parowan Gap, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, and the Dixie National Forest.

    Crystal Inn at Cedar City

    • The Crystal Inn at Cedar City is located 19 miles from Parowan. The hotel contains king and queen rooms, with either two queen-size beds or one king-size bed. Nearby the inn are the Brian Head ski resort, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Every year from June through October, Cedar City hosts the Utah Shakespeare Festival, consisting of several months of Shakespeare plays, as well as backstage tours and a Shakespeare competition.

    Grand Lodge at Brian Head

    • Brian Head, Utah is located 9.5 miles from Parowan. The hotel offers 100 rooms and suites decorated with wooden beams and rustic furniture common to lodges in and around America's national parks. The hotel's indoor pool even comes with a wooden waterfall. Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks make convenient day trips from Brian Head. Brian Head also offers many hiking trails, horseback riding opportunities, as well as mountain biking in the spring and summer. Brian Head is also an excellent place to go skiing and snowboarding in the winter.
