Hotels in Bozi Dar, Tschechien

Situated a hundred or so miles from Prague, Boží Dar is the Czech Republic's skiers' paradise. The town is the highest in central Europe and is near to Neklid, one of the most popular ski resorts in the Czech Republic. Boží Dar is a small town, but home to several accommodation options, most of which are pension-style hotels or serviced apartments. Summer sports are also popular in the region, including mountain biking and hiking.

  1. Houda Bouda

    • Besides possessing a name that simple rolls off of your tongue, Houda Bouda offers guests a place to stay in the center of Boží Dar. This guesthouse rents several double- or triple-occupancy rooms and a fully furnished 6-bedroom apartment. Rates include a buffet breakfast and a common lobby with television and Internet access. The hotel also offers to arrange winter sports on your behalf, including snowtubing, at the nearby hills. Two of the city's main skill hills are just a few hundred yards from the premises and in winter, 60 miles of cross-country ski trails begin steps from the front door.

    Engadin Apartments

    • The Engadin Apartments are located in the heart of town and are fully serviced living quarters for large groups. The two-story building is divided into 13 apartments that can sleep a total of 73 adults; the largest two apartments each have seven bedrooms. Each apartment has a kitchen, television and full bathroom, and the hotel has a common area with a fireplace and big-screen TV. The area's ski authority office is right across the road, offering cross-country ski rentals and tips for skiing the area's slopes. Engadin Apartments organizes trips across the border to Oberwiesenthal in the summer to take advantage of the summer sled track.

    Pension Schneeberg

    • Set a little outside of the town center, the Pension Schneeberg is only 200 yards from the Neklid ski area and 300 yards from the Novako ski area. The Pension has 12 rooms that sleep two people and contain a small kitchen. Guests can arrange dinners, and the Pension Schneeberg shares a swimming pool and fitness center/spa with a nearby hotel. Rates include a buffet breakfast. You can choose from a smaller room (double) up to a larger, five-bedroom apartment. In summer, guests can take advantage of nearby mountain-biking trails; the hotel provides a helpful map of the trail system.

    Hotel St. Anna

    • The Hotel St. Anna evokes central European architectural styling (a stone foundation topped with a simple, peach-colored building with a straight-forward sign proclaiming "hotel"). There's a small restaurant on the ground floor that serves international cuisine but specializes in venison dishes. Rooms rates peak in winter season (late December until March). The hotel features a clay tennis court for summer use and can arrange for sub-aquatic massages and a few other spa procedures. Winter and summer sports equipment are available to rent on-site.
