Cedarburg is a small historic town located about 20 minutes' drive north of Milwaukee, along Wisconsin's southeastern Lake Michigan coast. More than 200 buildings in Cedarburg are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cedarburg also has a lively downtown district and over 30 landscaped parks, and the town provides access to the 30-mile long paved Ozaukee Interurban Trail. An alternate way to enjoy overnight accommodations in the Cedarburg area, instead of staying at a hotel, is to rent a private cottage or cabin.
