Poulan, Georgia, is a small, unincorporated town located in the southern portion of Georgia in Worth County. According to the 2000 census, the town has a population of 946. No hotels can be found within the town of Poulan, but there are several hotels within easy driving distance. Worth County offers several attractions for visitors to enjoy while staying near the small town of Poulan.
The Days Inn is located a couple miles down to U.S. Highway 82 from Poulan, Georgia. The Flint River Municipal Golf Course is located nearby to appease the golfer. A short trip to Albany offers families the opportunity to experience the 175,000-gallon Riverquarium, showing the water life that lives in the area's rivers.
