Gettysburg Pennsylvania, the historical site of the bloody Civil War battle, is still entrenched in it's own history. Monuments, memorials and museums litter this quaint town. Each of the seven bedrooms and two suites are decorated in Victorian period style. Windows are dressed with lace curtains, beds are spread with quilts and the furniture is antique. The owner's collection of dolls and Boyd's Bears are showcased throughout the inn. Each room has a private bathroom and built-in wardrobe and some rooms have a private balcony. This Victorian bed and breakfast is centrally located in the historic district of Gettysburg close to the famous battlefield of the Civil War. This Victorian hotel features two historic buildings, an 1898 mansion and the 1830 Welty House, which was taken over by Confederate soldiers during the Civil War. The Welty House walls still bear the bullet scars from that time period.
