The Darley Manor Inn B&B is seven miles to the south of Claymont, in the northern section of the city of Wilmington. This bed-and-breakfast style hotel is in a historic Colonial-style manor house that dates back to 1790. Another plus is its proximity to I-95. It has six rooms that all come with their own private baths. Free movies provided by the owners can also be viewed in the rooms on a VCR. The inside is furnished and decorated with Colonial and Victorian period antiques and art work. Some famous people have stayed here, including Charles Dickens for two weeks in 1867.
