Cheswold is a tiny town in Delaware that was founded in 1856 and as of 2011 has fewer than 400 inhabitants. According to its website, Cheswold was originally inhabited by the Lenape Indian tribe, and later by Scottish immigrants and African-Americans. There are no hotels in town, but several in nearby Dover, the state capital.
