Mussoorie is a city within the state of Uttarakhand in the northeastern portion of India. Because of its proximity to the Himalaya ranges, Mussoorie has also been known as the Queen of the HIlls. To avoid the downpours during the monsoon, the best time to visit the area is during the months of mid-March to mid-November.
