Disney World is one of the top attractions in the world, family friendly and home to four amusement parks, two water parks and entertainment for everyone. The boardwalk at Disney has 9,000 square feet of shops, dining and nightlife, themed after popular Atlantic Coast destinations at the turn of the 20th century, and circles Crescent Lake. From the boardwalk, guests can walk to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. There are several hotels in the boardwalk area.
Disney's Boardwalk Inn is directly on the boardwalk and is one of Disney's deluxe-level properties. Rooms here are decorated in bright colors and a beach motif, reminiscent of trips to the ocean. Kids will enjoy a 24-hour playground, the Luna Park pool, featuring a 200-foot water slide, the Keister Coaster, fishing and bike rentals. The hotel is a short walk to Hollywood Studios and Epcot, but guests may also take complimentary water transportation to either park; buses are also available to all Disney parks. Restaurants on-site include Big River Grille & Brewing Works, Kouzzina by Cat Cora and Boardwalk Bakery.

Disney's Beach Club Villas are located just next to the boardwalk and are part of Disney's vacation club, a time-share like program, but can be rented by non-vacation club members. Themed as a New England-style beachfront resort, rooms here offer more space than typical Disney hotels. Villas have full kitchenettes, ceiling fans, a washer and dryer and a DVD player. The property sits on Crescent Lake, and families can also enjoy Stormalong Bay, a 3-acre water park with a waterslide and lazy river. The Sandcastle Club provides babysitting services for kids ages 3-12 while parents enjoy some quiet alone time. Nearby restaurants include Shula's Steakhouse, Cape May Café and Flying Fish Café.

Disney's Yacht Club is very near the boardwalk and is a 1,200-room deluxe property, offering easy access to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The resort shares Stormalong Bay with the Beach Club property and has an arcade, fitness center and pedal boats, and pontoons can be rented. As with all Disney resorts, guests staying here will gain early admission --- or be allowed to stay late --- at a select Disney park each day. Walking and jogging paths wind through the property, and tennis and volleyball courts are also available. One of Disney's most popular eateries, Yachtsman Steakhouse, is located on-site, as is the Ale and Compass Lounge and Crew's Cup Lounge.
