Rocky River is a city in northern Ohio in the western suburbs of Cleveland and along Lake Erie. Named after the river that is along its eastern boundary, Rocky River is the home of the Cowan Pottery Museum. It also has a harbor where the Rocky River flows into Lake Erie. Primarily a residential community, Rocky River does not have its own hotels, but plenty are available in nearby Cleveland.
