Bring your pet along while visiting New England's Mount Sunapee region as there are a few hotels in the area that are pet friendly. Call in advance to make arrangements, but most allow more than one pet to stay with you at a time.
Up to two pets can stay with you at the Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge for an additional fee. You'll need to notify hotel staff of the pet when making a reservation.
Dexter's Inn is five miles outside of Mount Sunapee in Sunapee. Pets can stay in some rooms, but guests must make advance arrangements with hotel staff. As of summer 2010, there is a $10 fee per pet plus an additional 9-percent tax.
Pets 50 lbs and lighter are welcome at the Rodeway Inn in nearby Claremont, 12 miles outside of Mount Sunapee. As of summer 2010, there is a $15 fee per night per animal and a $20 deposit is required.
