Massanutten is a census-designated -- or, unincorporated -- place located in Rockingham County, Virginia and lies approximately 105 miles northwest of Richmond. Massanutten is known for being a large skiing community and features a large selection of hotels and other accommodations for tourists visiting the area.

The Shenandoah Valley Farm and Inn is located near the Massanutten Ski Resort and offers guests six guest cottages and a private apartment on the grounds of an old apple orchard. Each of the cottages are equipped with fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, bathtubs and one or two bedrooms. The apartment and each of the cottages all come furnished with kitchenware, tableware and linens. A variety of recreational activities are available for guests staying at the farm that include hiking, fishing and bird watching. Children are also welcome to catch minnows and crayfish at the Bonnie Brook, which is located just minutes from the farm.
