Yucatan Hotels

Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula is in the southeastern portion of the country. The state capital is Merida, and according to Consejo de Promoción Turística de México, this "White City" is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. Attractions include San Antonio de Padua, home to "the largest atrium in the Americas" and the rich Mayan history at spots such as the Pyramid of Kukulcan. Hotels in the Yucatan range from large corporate chain-style establishments with familiar surroundings to eco-friendly haciendas with a decidedly local flair.
