Big Bear Lakeside Cabins

Big Bear Lake, in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California, offers year-round vacation options. Cabins for summer boating or winter skiing are available in a variety of sizes and a wide range of prices.
  1. Large Lakeside Cabins

    • According to Big Bear Lakefront Cabins, lodge size and large cabins are available for family reunions and corporate retreats. The number of bedrooms range from four to six, with sleeping for up to 14. Hot tubs are common, as are Wi-Fi access and large decks. Some even have pool tables and game rooms. Private boat docks come at a premium. Pricing is flexible, depending on the dates you are looking for.

    Medium Lakeside Cabins

    • Medium-size cabins have two large bedrooms or three average-size bedrooms. Pricing may be dependent on the number of people the cabin will sleep, however. It is not uncommon to find three bedrooms advertised as sleeping between 8 and 10 people. The number of bathrooms should be a consideration if something close to the full allocation of sleeping spaces will be used.

    Small Cabins and Village Cabins

    • Small cabins suitable for a couple are hard to find on Big Bear Lake but are more common on the ski slopes. Lakefront cottages in the village of Big Bear Lake are smaller and less expensive than those with more privacy. With that said, there are a few cozy, romantic one-bedroom lake-shore cottages outside of the village.
