Deer Hollow Ranch and Cabins, located in Mountainburg, is about a 15-minute drive from Chester. Cabins are available for daily or weekly renting; they are fully-equipped and include a hot tub. Guests can enjoy the hiking and bike trails as well as horseback riding trails for those that have their own horses. According to the Deer Hollow site, trained pets are allowed in the cabins for an additional nightly fee. The cabins are smoke-free; however, guests are permitted to smoke on their cabin's deck area.

Located in Winslow, Arkansas, the Sky-Vue Lodge is approximately 15 minutes from Chester. In addition to cottages and lodge rooms, seven cabins are available for guests. Cabins have kitchens, fireplaces and cable television. They offer views of the Boston Mountains as well. According to the Sky-Vue website, the lodge operates as a bed and breakfast with full country breakfasts provided from March to November. Sky-Vue allows pets in the carpeted cabins and smoking is permitted outdoors. However, alcohol is not allowed on the premises.

Mountainburg's Locke Mountain Cabins are located about 30 minutes from Chester. These cabins in the Ozark Mountains are equipped with city water, kitchens, fireplaces and appliances.
