How to Obtain a Visa for a Chinese Wife and Child

One of the most common ways people immigrate to the United States is through marriage to a permanent resident. Permanent residents can apply for a visa for their husband or wife and unmarried children of any age. Before your wife and child can get a visa to enter the U.S. from China, you will need to obtain an approved petition for immigration from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
