Log Cabins in Maroon Bells, Colorado

The Maroon Bells 14,000 foot peaks reflect in Maroon Lake in the midst of National Forest lands. Non-motorized transportation is welcome at no charge into the Maroon Bells, but accessibility is limited for cars. Bus tours are available during the summer months, from June through September. Stay in the area at one of the available log cabin rentals and be close to the most photographed peaks in North America.

    • Glenwood Canyon Resort offers brand-new log cabins, RV sites, camper cabins, tent areas and pop-up camper sites. Cabin amenities include bedrooms and sleeping lofts, equipped kitchens, vaulted ceilings, a deck with seating and a grill, air conditioning, fireplace, wireless Internet, and satellite TV. Resort amenities include a bathhouse, game room, convenience store, laundry facilities, shuttle service, pavilion with a barbecue, shuttle service, river access, park and playground. You will have easy access to the Glen Canyon Recreational Trail. Enjoy whitewater rafting, kayaking, inner tubing or mountain biking on the property. Glenwood Canyon Resort cabins are open all year, and cabins are available for $99 to $269 per night. Additional guests are an additional $15 per night per guest. All cabins at Glenwood Canyon Resort are nonsmoking.

    Beaver Lake Lodge and Cabins

    • The Beaver Lake Lodge and Cabins offers five cabins for guest rental. Each cabin has a porch, log beds, handmade quilts, hardwood floors, charcoal grills and kitchens. Stay in one of these five quarry-worker cabins for $79 to $109 per night. The lodge provides campfire rings, barbecues, a wooden boardwalk and picnic tables. You can also stay in the lodge, a former schoolhouse built in the 1800s. You will be provided with dishware, pots and pans and utensils in each cabin. A toaster, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator and stove are also provided, based on the cabin rental type. No phones are available in the cabins and there is no cellular service in the town of Marble, Colorado. Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $15 per stay, and additional guests are welcome in the cabins for an additional $15 per night. Children are welcome at the Beaver Lake Lodge and Cabins for free.

    Mount Elbert Lodge

    • Mount Elbert Lodge has been providing guests accommodations for 65 years. The nine log cabins have from one to five bedrooms. They have shared or private bathrooms, charcoal barbecues and kitchens. You can also stay in the five guest rooms available in the lodge. Pets are welcome for a fee of $15 per day per pet, except in two of the cabins, the Elk and Lodge. One cabin is wheelchair accessible, and there is no smoking allowed. No phones are available either. Television is provided in the Lodge and Elk cabins. Stay at the Mount Elbert Lodge for $117 to $375. An 8.8% tax will also be charged, and additional guests are $13.50 per day. Mount Elbert Lodge requires a three-night minimum during holidays. Enjoy a visit to the hot springs, train rides, restaurants, museums, winter sports, water sports, biking, hiking, golfing, horseback riding and off-road vehicle rentals during your stay.

    Avalanche Ranch

    • Located on the edge of the Maroon Bells Wilderness area, Avalanche Ranch Cabins and Antiques offers 13 cabin rentals and a three-bedroom house for rent. Cabins can be rented from $109 to $425 depending on the cabin size and season. While some cabins only have beds, showers, and kitchenettes, others have claw-foot tubs, complete kitchens, lofts, washers and dryers, and gas log stoves. Some have TVs with satellite and DVD players. You can also stay in a shepherd's wagon for $55 to $75 per night. You will have a private yard and porch with a picnic table and a barbecue grill. Pets are welcome for a $12 fee per pet per night. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, river rafting, cavern tours, four-wheeling, golf, fishing and hunting while visiting Avalanche Ranch and Maroon Bells.
