Just south of Weatherford, the Rough Creek Lodge and Resort offers cabin accommodations for wildlife and hunting vacations. A variety of hunting is offered at the lodge and resort, from upland bird hunting, such as quail and pheasant, to elk, turkey and, of course, whitetail deer. There are four private cabins on the resort, as well as over 50 guest rooms in the main lodge area. Cabin amenities include complimentary WiFi, grills and screened porches, while three of the four cabins include flat-paneled televisions, fireplace and whirlpool tub. A triple bunk bed is available in the other cabin. Hunting guides and dogs are also available for hunting outings.

Located about 10 miles northeast of Weatherford is the Boulder T Exotics Hunting Ranch, which offers hunting cabin accommodations to its patrons. In addition to whitetail deer, other game hunted at the ranch include turkey and hogs, as well as antelope and red and fallow deer. There are a range of accommodations from cabins that sleep six people to two, as well as the main hunting lodge. Cabin amenities include outhouses and shower facilities, as well as a walk-in freezer for possible game storage. Ranch amenities include an archery range, shooting range, as well as tripods, tree stands and tower blinds for hunting. The range also offers video hunts, where trips can be preserved on DVDs.
