Hunting Leases in the Hill Country of Texas

Located in central Texas, hill country is one of the most beautiful parts of the state. It offers wildflower-covered rolling hills, natural streams and rivers, and a variety of native animals. Many hunters choose to go there because of the scenery and different types of game. There are many hunting leases and properties to choose from.
  1. Hillcrest Ranch

    • This 3,000-acre hunting lease is located West Kerr County. It features a multi-room lodge that can sleep medium-large groups of hunters. This annual lease has several hunting blinds, as well as fishing water. The management prefers to work with seasoned hunters, rather than corporate clients. Firearms are the only hunting methods allowed. Game available there includes whitetail deer, white wing doves, Rio Grande turkeys, mourning doves, foxes, bobcats, feral hogs and coyotes. The managing ranch also has exotic animals available, such as aoudad, fallow and blackbuck, but they are not included in the lease.
