Alaska Hunting Cabins

Alaska hunting cabins will put you right where the action is for hunting such game as moose, brown bear, grizzly, black bear, caribou, dall sheep, goat, deer, wolf and wolverine. You can enlist the help of a hunting guide or arrange your own hunt. Hunting cabins are a great way to fully experience the natural beauty and adventure that Alaska has to offer hunters.

  1. Afognak Wilderness Lodge

    • The Afognak Wilderness Lodge offers three real log cabins for a rustic but homey base for your hunting excursions. The owners personally hand-milled the logs and built the cabins with care and comfort in mind. Each cabin includes a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and hot water and electricity. If you’re bringing some hunting buddies, you’ll find each room equipped with a queen- and twin-size bed. In the adjacent lodge, you can enjoy hearty five-star meals and a sauna. The kitchen will pack a lunch to take with you on your hunt. The lodge also provides you with the use of cabin-cruisers or smaller boats to get you around the Kodiak Islands. Animals you can hunt include the Kodiak brown bear, elk and deer.
