There are two types of cabins available at the Denali Salmon Bake, the standard cabins or economy. A standard cabin costs $145 for double occupancy and includes television, refrigerator, heat and free shuttle bus to Denali Park. The economy cabins have shared bathrooms and showers, towels, beds with linen service and residents can also utilize the free shuttle bus. The economy cabins are a good value for the Denali area, but some customers may find them too rustic. Each cabin can sleep up to four people, but additional charges apply.
Th Denali Salmon Bake Cabins are well known for the restaurant on premises: the Landmark Bar and Grill restaurant. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and a kids menu is available. The Salmon Bake specializes in local fish, burgers and steak, in addition to a selection of Alaskan beer. Wi-fi is available on the premises. This restaurant is well-liked by tourists, but like other amenities in the Denali area, may run a bit on the expensive side.
The Salmon Bake Cabins also have a general store right on the premises. The Canyon Market and Cafe is open 24 hours per day in the summer, offering dine-in and dine-out deli foods. The Canyon Market offers fresh fruit and vegetables, smoothies, salads, soups and box lunches to take with you when visiting Denali Park. Other essential items are available at the store as well in case you forgot anything at home.
As the Salmon Bake Cabins often draw a younger crowd, they provide live entertainment choices almost every evening at "The Bake" their on site bar. Entertainment includes local bands, trivia contests, Monday night poker night and open mic night. A calendar of events is located online at the Salmon Bake website.
